What is the ideal distance between the ball and the net/screen/impact area

For GolfTrak to accurately capture and analyze your shots, it needs to see the ball in flight between impact and when it hits the net or screen. This means you’ll need a minimum of 3.5m/11'6" between the phone and your impact screen or net.

With the phone positioned 1.2m/4’ behind the ball, this gives GolfTrak about 2.3m/7’5” of visible ball flight to track the shot.

Pro tip: If you're a faster swinger (especially ball speed 140/150+ mph), having that full distance is even more important—GolfTrak needs time (aka space) to see the ball mid-flight before it disappears into the screen.

If you're too close to the net, especially outdoors, you might see missed or inaccurate readings—so give it the runway it needs to fly!
