GolfTrak runs entirely on your iPhone — no extra hardware, no expensive gear. But there are a few requirements to make sure everything works as it should.
iPhone Requirements
GolfTrak only runs on iPhone. Android is not supported.
- iPhone 11 or newer
- iOS 18 or above
- iPhone SE models are not compatible
Pro model iPhones deliver better AR detection accuracy when using that measurement method. If AR is your preferred setup, a Pro is worth it.
Not sure what iOS you're running? Go to Settings > General > Software Update to check and update if needed.
Equipment You Need
You don't need much to get started.
- A tripod or stable base positioned between 6"/15cm and 12"/30cm off the ground
- That's it
No sensors, no attachments, no extra devices required for standard shot tracking.
Using GolfTrak with a Virtual Simulator
Want to play virtual golf? You'll need a second device to run your simulator program.
- E6 Simulator — works with an iPhone, iPad, or PC
- GSPro Simulator — requires a PC
Your iPhone handles the shot tracking. Your second device runs the course.
